Henderson State commencement May 3 in Duke Wells Center

Spring commencement ceremonies will be held at Henderson State University Friday, May 3, in the Duke Wells Center with approximately 375 undergraduate and graduate students receiving their degrees.

The ceremony for graduates from the academic areas of Health, Education, and Social Sustainability will start at 10 a.m. Dr. Charity Dawson, assistant professor of nursing, will give the faculty charge. The student response will be given by Astrid Jasso Camarillo, a nursing major from DeQueen.

Doors will open for the general public at 9 a.m.

At 2 p.m., graduates from the areas of Applied Professional Science and Technology; Arts and Humanities; and Business, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, will receive their degrees. Paul Glover, associate professor of digital media production, will present the faculty charge. Kayla Streepey, a communications and digital media production major from Hot Springs, will give the student response.

Doors will open for the public at 1 p.m.
